The body would decay without a sufficient intake of vitamins. And if it affects the whole body, it also affects physical activities. Sex is definitely one of those activities.

Most people are well aware of the significance of a healthy diet as well as the infinite physical and psychological beneficial effects of sex. Roughly said, a sexually active person diligently collects credit points for his/her immune system and thus actually breathes more easily because blood flow is increased, and the skin also glows in its magnificent appearance. High-quality sex life prevents the development of the symptoms of depression and anxiety. Are you sufficiently informed of nutrition in connection with good sex life? As there’s always room to upgrade your knowledge, we’ve decided to show you how different vitamins influence your sex life. We suggest here that it’s worth being “old-fashioned”, consuming vitamins through food and drinks and not so much through food additives.

1. Sex and vitamin A:

Vitamin A is the most elementary vitamin for normal reproduction. In rats, lack of this vitamin causes a decrease in the strength of the organism, which is reflected in the testicles of males as well as the eggs of females, and it can also lead to spontaneous sterilization. Lack of vitamin A also affects the production of sex hormones and a chronic deficiency causes dried and scaly skin. On the other hand, a sufficient quantity makes your skin soft and smooth. And where can you find vitamin A? In fish, eggs, dairy products (cheese, plain yogurt), leafy green vegetables and yellow fruit.

2. Sex and vitamin B-1:

Vitamin B1 is involved in the body’s production of energy and the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fat. Lack of the vitamin can therefore lead to generally lower levels of energy in the body and, indirectly, has an adverse effect on your libido. The signs of a deficiency of vitamin B1 are fatigue, irritation, constipation and sometimes an increase in your heart rate. So, start eating hazel nuts, beans, pineapples, wheat seeds, brown rice and cereals in moderate quantities as soon as possible.

3. Sex  and vitamin B3:

Lack of this vitamin, which is also called niacin, can cause rashes on the skin, bowel problems and even milder forms of mental disorders. Sex life is, so to speak, bound to a sufficient quantity of vitamin B3 because it extremely increases blood circulation (this usually occurs in the process of reaching an orgasm) and also stimulates the processes in the brain. And when your mental health is damaged, and you have digestion problems, you can also feel the consequences in your sex life. In order to avoid that, you should therefore eat moderate quantities of lean chicken meat, fish, fresh broccoli and yogurt.

4. Sex and vitamin C:

Vitamin C affects the quality of sex in that it plays the key role in absorption of iron from food, participates in forming red blood cells and helps white blood cells to fight infections. It’s an indispensable part in the metabolic process and an important component of the adrenal glands – the glands that substantially governs your sex life. While iron helps combining oxygen with the cells that maintain connective tissue and enable the production of energy, blood provides internal organs with oxygen, hormones and nutrients. And as the adrenal gland produces an enormous quantity of sex hormones, including the hormones that affect orgasm, the significance of vitamin C is all the more obvious. It’s also known that vitamin C fully strengthens the human immune system, protects you against stress and maintains your flexibility and vitality. The value of the vitamin is rather obvious. It shouldn’t be a sheer coincidence that strawberries, tomato and citrus fruits (orange, lemon, etc.) are on your menu.

This is a list of only some of the main vitamins. At the same time, vitamins D and E also directly and indirectly affect the whole body as well as your sex life. Let at least some of the aforementioned food become a constant part of your diet.
